HCG Software has been awarded a contract with the California Department of Mental Health (DMH) to provide a robust reporting and analytics package via their HCGPrevision application. This project was the result of a joint effort between HCG, Public-Sector Solutions (P-SS) and Informatix to provide a comprehensive, automated, enterprise-level financial software solution to DMH.
HCGPrevision will provide a comprehensive reporting tool to the DMH to process more than 15 million adjudicated claims, general ledger financial reporting, and statistical reporting and analysis to 58 counties state-wide. Furthermore, its HIPAA-compliant database will be utilized to extract claims information from DMH's CALSTARS system, and export data into Public-Sector Solutions' USL Financials application to be used for reimbursement modeling by both the state and federal government. As an intermediate step, HCGPrevision will perform calculations to determine the appropriate reimbursement amounts for both the state and federal governments along a wide range of parameters while maintaining patient confidentiality.
